Job Description
Department: Dynamis Manufacturing
Job Status: Full Time
FLSA Status: Non - Exempt
Reports To: Director of Manufacturing
Work Location: Houston, TX; Kimberlee
Amount of Travel Required: 10%
WorkSchedule: Monday Friday; 8 a.m. 5 p.m. (Overtime as needed)

POSITION SUMMARY: The person in this position assists with manufacturing of mobile power generation packages and other mechanical equipment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (The following duties and responsibilities are all essential job functions, as defined by the ADA, except for those that begin with the word "May.")
- Support reviews of new and old mechanical designs and related equipment for hyper mobile power generation packages & related equipment
- Red line engineered drawings
- Evaluate new products and new product implementation.
- Aid operations with installation and commissioning of power generation packages and other equipment
- Be the liaison between shop personnel and management.
- Provide trouble shooting oversite on power generation packages and other applicable equipment.
- Provide pre-job and post-job analysis (where applicable).
- Conduct work in accordance with safety rules, standard operating procedures, and workplace.
- Evaluate operational readiness of equipment.
- Support equipment is manufactured per drawings.
- May aid in implementation of more efficient working tasks.
Qualifications
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Successfully passes background check & pre-employment drug screening.
- Possesses a valid U.S. Driver’s License.
- Daily in-person, predictable attendance.
- Proficiency in English required, bilingual in Spanish a plus.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE LEVEL
- 10 years of previous motor, pump, turbine or relevant technology experience
- Specific knowledge of GE LM gas turbines, MTU/RR reciprocating engine and related auxiliary systems
- Knowledge of Equipment controls and logic
- Able to read electrical/controls drawings
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
- Able to communicate in a technical manner around clients.
- Ability to work within a team concept to successfully complete assigned tasks.
- Ability to take instruction well and interact with other employees in a positive manner within the framework of assigned work groups.
- Efficient at Microsoft office (word, excel, PowerPoint, outlook)
- Knowledge of gas turbine packages and related equipment
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Frequently required to walk, sit, climb, bend, reach and squat/kneel.Manufacturing Specialistswork primarily indoors in the office.
- If required to go to a worksite, the work environment includes exposure to hazardous materials and operating conditions.
- Employees are required to wear company mandated personal protective equipment and must strictly adhere to safety policy.
