Job Summary
We’re searching for a highly qualified program manager to join our team and assist in maintaining our position as an innovative authority. This position requires a self-driven individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment that is constantly changing. This role is focused on overseeing the strategic planning, and successful execution of production and sustainment projects with our customers. This person must be comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams, working with engineering, software developers, subcontracts, and customer counterparts. As a key liaison between internal teams and external stakeholders, the program manager will play a key role in maintaining relationships and contributing to DZYNE’s position as an industry leader. This role is expected to have a high level of technical expertise and proven track record of successfully managing long term projects.

Required Duties And Responsibilities
- Responsible for P/L and execution of projects managed, including the measurement and reporting of program performance
- Coordinate internal and external resources, ensuring that projects remain within scope, schedule, and budget
- Utilize earned value management processes for tracking project financials
- Develop and adhere to budget baselines utilizing Earned Value Management (EVM) or similar cost & schedule control methodologies and tools
- Identify, distribute, track, and complete program requirements
- Utilize expertise on DoD contracts to navigate and ensure compliance with relevant regulations
- Establish a program organization that effectively addresses customer requirements and incorporates the necessary internal and external sub-organizations
- Participate in the negotiation of contracts, contract changes, specifications, operating budgets, schedule milestones, and key terms and conditions.
- Work with other members of the program team to determine task priority, deconflict internal resources, and ensure requirements are met across multiple competing efforts.
- Ensure initiatives are aligned with project goals and have defined outcomes and success measures.
- Perform risk analysis and develop risk mitigation plans
- Follow company processes, plans and procedures to ensure projects are executed based on AS9100 quality certification requirements
- Help develop comprehensive status reports and assist with submitting deliverables for multiple projects with varying levels of complexity
- Cultivate customer relationships and intimacy to develop further opportunities within the customer community
- Develop new business opportunities through long term strategic planning, capture planning, and development of proposals and business plans
- Lead and direct cross-functional Integrated Program Teams (IPT) to meet program cost, schedule and technical performance objectives
- Deliver presentations to customers, executive management and other program stakeholders
- Establish and manage the program and subordinate baselines
- Identify, allocate and manage program resources, to include workforce planning
- Manage suppliers to meet program objectives.
- Adhere to all internal processes, policies, and applicable industry standards
- Ensure the program team understands and adheres to contract scope, and manage change through control board activities
- Develop and adhere to master plans and schedules
- 7-10 years’ experience managing projects/programs, with increasing responsibility
- Experience managing teams
- Experience with earned value management best practices
- Experience with program risk management
- Experience establishing program baselines and program financial reporting
- Experience meeting/exceeding program deliverables, on time/on budget
- Excellent communication skills.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Basic understanding of UAS, C-UAS, long range EO/IR cameras, radar, lidar, and various RF equipment.
- Experience with Jira, Microsoft Project, Monday.com, Asana, or other project management tools.
- Experience with Primavera P6 or similar scheduling tools used to develop an IMS.
- Experience working with contracts, program finance, manufacturing, production, software development, export compliance and engineering teams.
- Ability to travel both domestically and internationally
- Current US Secret Security Clearance

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and or Business
- 5-7 years' experience managing projects/programs with increasing levels of responsibility
- Professional certification such as PMP (Project Management Professional) preferred
