Our office is located in Bentonville, Arkansas and we are working in a hybrid schedule where we are in office Monday- Wednesday and remote Thursday and Friday.

Overview of Position:
This position is for a full-time entry level Retail Sales Analyst within a private label brand at a major box retailer assisting the Retail Sales Manager. The Retail Sales Analyst will be responsible for analyzing sales, maximizing in season opportunities for key categories of business across several merchandise departments as well as market analysis and presentations. To be successful in this role, you must be someone who thinks critically and thrives in an ever-changing environment.
Key Accountabilities:
- Responsible for weekly sales reporting and analysis in multiple categories in the apparel space
- Analyze Sales and define what’s working and what’s not working
- Assist in Royalty payment reporting and calculation
- Identify sales trends and communicate internally
- Perform category deep dives by: Brand, Sub-category, and any other necessary attributes
- Work with the internal Design Team in analysis of their respective categories
- Analyze productivity of the Brands by mod for sales, margin, and space
- Monitor and communicate any discrepancies between sales reporting and royalty reporting
- Assist in driving Brand strategy with data backed analysis
- Research, collect, and study market (brick & mortar/online) data for in depth category/market analysis “deep dives” and create presentations for Walmart as needed
- Assist in Strategy formation for new seasons, categories and projects as needed
- Assist the PD teams with market POV’s (assessments)
- Create and analyze Seasonal Sales tracking
Skills Summary
- Bachelor’s Degree or experience in related area
- Advanced Excel skills (Pivot tables, Charts, Macros, Vlookup, formulas, Conditional Formatting, etc.) Proficient Power point skills. Retail Link Skills are a plus.
- Results oriented with strong strategic sales approach and analytical thinking a must.
- Walmart Retail Link experience preferred
- Ability to be collaborative, prioritize, and perform multiple activities
- Manage workload and deadlines with minimum supervision
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
