What are the responsibilities and job description for the Skilled Maintenance- Emphasis HVAC position at East Mississippi Community College?
Responsible for maintenance and upkeep of the physical plant and transportation equipment.
Emphasis in HVAC1. Provides general and preventive maintenance of physical plant, grounds, andvehicles;
2. Recognizes and reports to the Director of Physical Plant all safety hazards for correction and/orappraisal;
3. Recognizes and reports to the Director of Physical Plant all needed repairs or modifications necessary
to maintain and operate the physical plant, grounds, and vehicles efficiently and at optimallevel;
4. Maintains all heating, cooling, and ventilation systems in order that facilities operateproperly;
5. Requests materials, supplies, and services necessary for repairs, improvements, and general
maintenance to college property;
6. Makes repairs in an efficient and timely manner, with priority on the welfare ofstudentsEducation: Associate degree, preferred; relevant certifications, required
