What are the responsibilities and job description for the Site Supervisor position at East River Contracting?
Requirements:
- Must be 18 y.o. or older
- Valid driver's license (CDL is a bonus)
Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Coordinate with general contractors on multiple jobsites
- Provide support for the project managers and foremans
- Maintain and effectively communicate schedule changes with the PMs and foremans
- Make sure correct materials are on the jobsites prior to the work beginning
- Perform all construction practices in accordance with industry standards; follow and enforce OSHA safety protocols including leading bi-weekly Toolbox talks with crews
- Learn and utilize East River's project management software
- Identify tools and materials necessary for each scope of the construction process (primarily concrete & framing)
- Assist as needed with pouring concrete, setting/stripping forms
- Keep jobsites clean and organized
- Occasional Travel; Typically home every night
