What are the responsibilities and job description for the Summer Teacher GED - Evening Willimantic position at EASTCONN Adult & Community Programs - Community Learning Center?
Temporary part-time GED teacher for adults at EASTCONN's Willimantic location (Tyler Square / CLC ):
- multilevel evening classes will meet from 5:30 - 8 PM on Mondays and Wednesdays between July 8th through August 8th.
- The successful candidate will assist in developing curriculum, teach in a positive and supportive manner, have an understanding of the CCRS, have the ability to differentiate instruction, integrate technology, and be a team player.
- The successful applicant must possess the ability to relate positively to a multiracial, multicultural, and mutilevel group of students. He/She must be able to engage the students in meaninful instruction.
- Prior experience teaching GED and flexibility to work at multiple sites is preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in education or related field, and certified or certifiable in CT Adult Education (#107).
