Eastridge Workforce Solutions has partnered with one of the areas fastest growing companies, in the search for a positive, trustworthy, and results-driven individual with high integrity to join their Human Resources department as an HR Generalist. This role will play a crucial part in the day-to-day operations, focusing on recruitment, compliance, employee relations, safety, benefits, and training. The ideal candidate will serve as a positive role model, maintaining confidentiality at all levels within the organization.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain internal consistency by creating, enforcing, and updating company policies and procedures.
- Ensure legal compliance with federal and state human resource requirements, conducting investigations and maintaining accurate records.
- Administer and maintain DOT driver files, partnering with the Director of Transportation for inspections.
- Support the entire recruitment cycle, including job postings, advertising, cost management, interviewing, onboarding, and orientation.
- Utilize analytical initiatives to reduce turnover and work-related injuries.
- Assist in developing and supporting compensation plans through market salary surveys, job evaluations, and pay structure revisions.
- Update job requirements and descriptions for all positions.
- Manage employee relations, including corrective action, separation documentation, and related disciplinary processes.
- Analyze training needs and implement programs for employee engagement, development, education, and health and safety.
- Maintain personnel-related data and compile statistical reports.
Qualifications & Competencies:
Education/Work Experience:
- High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years' proven experience in an HR Generalist role.
- Fluent communication in both Spanish and English is required.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Strong knowledge of State and Federal Labor Law, HR Systems, Benefits Administration, Performance Management, and Worker’s Compensation.
- Familiarity with local and state regulations, such as DOT and OSHA.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in building collaborative relationships and leading change.
- Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Exceptional communication skills (written, verbal, and presentations).
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Efficient HR administration and people management skills.
- Strong customer service focus.
- Self-motivated with excellent organizational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Word, Outlook, and Excel.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and seek innovative solutions.
