What are the responsibilities and job description for the Registered Nurse position at Eastside Outpatient Services?
Eastside Outpatient Services, a substance abuse treatment center, is seeking a full-time RN to join our organization. The RN must be able to dispense medications Monday through Friday, starting at 6 AM. The RN must also be able to work some Saturday mornings, starting at 7 AM.
Responsibilities:
- Nurse is responsible for the safe and the efficient dispensing and administering of Methadone to opioid dependent clients.
- Documentation of medical and clinical records and observations, records keeping regarding Methadone inventory and control.
- Works in close coordination with other treatment team members.
- Participate in Staff Trainings and Clinical Staffing as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Program Director and MD’s
- Interested candidates should have a strong interest in working in substance abuse field, be a team player, be organized, and have a strong interpersonal communication skills and be dependable.
Qualifications
- RN in the State of Michigan
- Must be willing to work flexible hours, as per the clinic’s hours of operations, including some Saturday mornings
