- Guide and energize site leaders and teams, shaping EHS&Q improvements aligned with key performance goals.
- Aggregate EHS&Q data, identify hazards, and recommend practical risk mitigation strategies.
- Deliver comprehensive EHS&Q training programs and support behavioral-based safety initiatives.
- Ensure understanding and application of EHS&Q manuals, policies, and procedures.
- Be the go-to expert for ISO 9001 certification, explaining relevant policies and legislative impacts.
- Conduct thorough internal EHS&Q audits, evaluate non-conformances, and recommend corrective measures.
- Prompt and accurate filing of Non-Conformance and Quality Action Requests is essential.
- Facilitate incident investigations and support EHS incident reporting.
- Conduct and guide risk assessments for all hazardous activities.
- Oversee health surveillance for employees exposed to workplace risks.
- Manage environmental manifests, ensuring regulatory-compliant documentation.
- Champion Safety Teams and encourage collaborative safety improvements.
- Represent the facility in the regional Central Safety Committee.
- Administer the facility’s calibration program.
- Monitor and report on scrap and rework costs, minimizing quality expenses.
- Provide essential support during emergency situations.
- Undertake varied EHS&Q tasks as required by our business.
- Profound knowledge of safety and environmental regulations; adept at navigating OSHA and local laws.
- Certified safety professional with at least two years in workplace safety roles.
- Environmental management certification; skilled in articulating environmental policy impacts.
- Proven ability to deliver engaging training, championing a positive safety culture.
- Exemplary leadership and collaborative skills, fostering team synergy.
- Excellence in communication, conveying complex EHS&Q information clearly.
- Experienced EHS audit and investigation leader with certified credentials.
- In-depth understanding of quality management systems and laws.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or related field.
- OSH certification such as NEBOSH IGC, CSP, ASP with experience.
- Environmental management certification with practical experience.
