What are the responsibilities and job description for the Estimator Project Controls position at ECM?
Day & Zimmermann is currently seeking an Estimator to work on-site at Watts Bar Nuclear Power Plant. Preferred candidates should have previous experience working as an Estimator at a Nuclear Site.
Duties:
- Provide comprehensive maintenance and capitol project estimates.
- Track progress on estimated work and compares actual costs vs. projected costs.
- Develop detailed estimates utilizing "Win-Estimate" software.
- Support project controls on cost tracking and development of unit rates.
- Capture scope growth/changes and maintain version control on estimates.
- Support project controls with developing unit rates from actual costs.
Minimum requirements include:
Bachelor's degree in related field of study OR 5 years of related work experience in a Maintenance/Modification or Construction environment. Win-Estimate software highly preferred.
In compliance with this state's pay transparency laws, the salary range for this role is $66,000- $193,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. (The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of union fringes).
