Job Description
Your caregiver duties may vary each day, but some basic tasks remain the same when caring for a client. Primarily assuring that all policies and procedures are observed throughout the assignment for in-home care. Having a professional and compassionate demeanor will treating our clients like family. It is satisfying and rewarding caring for disabled or elderly individuals who are thankful for high-quality assistance. The ideal candidate will be patient and friendly with excellent communication skills. You should be able to follow instructions and perform a variety of tasks to help clients.

Job Duties
- Help clients take prescribed medication.
- Assist clients with mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks, etc.)
- Assist clients with personal care and hygiene
- Plan and prepare meals with assistance from the clients (when they are able)
- Do the client’s shopping or accompany them when they shop
- Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can’t complete on their own
- Be a pleasant and supportive companion
- Report any unusual incidents
- Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
- All Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent knowledge of emergency response and first aid (CPR)
- Proven experience as a caregiver
- Be able to lift to 30 pounds
- Keep accurate records of all assigned schedules and hours worked
- Maintain confidentiality with our Clients
- Participate in scheduled Caregiver meetings
- Be able to pass a criminal background check
