- Education: CDA or 6 semester hours in Early Childhood Education (or related field)
- Experience: At least 1–2 years working in early childhood education (lead or assistant role)
- Skills: Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices, strong written and verbal communication, teamwork-oriented
- Follow weekly lesson plans based on Learning Beyond Paper curriculum and monthly themes
- Meet individual needs of children through interactive play, exploration, and learning
- Communicate professionally with parents and staff
- Create a positive, engaging classroom environment that inspires a love of learning
- Plan and implement activities that foster self-esteem, social skills, and independence
- Use observation and assessment tools to track each child’s growth
- Commit to ongoing professional development
