WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR IN YOU
For Director:
- College or university degree with at least 6 semester hours in Early Childhood Education or a related field
- 10 years in early childhood, with at least 2-5 years in a Director role
- Strong knowledge of child development and developmentally appropriate practices
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must meet all state educational and licensing requirements for a Director
For Assistant Director:
- College coursework or degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred
- At least 1–2 years of early childhood experience, preferably in a leadership or administrative role
- Strong organizational skills and ability to support center operations
- Positive, team-oriented attitude with great communication skills
- Willingness to learn state licensing and compliance requirements
YOUR ROLE AS A LEADER
As a Director or Assistant Director, you will:
- Oversee center operations including staff, families, enrollment, and quality standards
- Partner with parents to ensure the best care and educational outcomes
- Support teachers in implementing Creative Curriculum Guidelines and monthly themes
- Interact directly with children to support learning, play, and development
- Foster a collaborative and positive team culture
- Assist with staff evaluations, feedback, and training
- Maintain compliance with licensing and accreditation standards
