We are looking for a highly motivated, experienced Production Planner to join our growing manufacturing team. We offer an environment that is always interesting & challenging.
Responsibilities
- Collaborates with manufacturing and sales to develop a schedule to best serve customer needs.
- Generate manufacturing work orders using JD Edwards E1 platform to drive material and production scheduling.
- Integrates sales orders with the Master Schedule; coordinates the availability of materials, supplies, equipment, and staff as needed to meet delivery dates.
- Notifies warehouse team of open orders and past due for completion within the scheduling system.
- Revises as needed and alerts appropriate staff of schedule changes and delays.
- Updates appropriate staff of any ability to move items up in the schedule as material availability and capacity changes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred (Business, Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering) or 8 years of Manufacturing Planning Experience
- Experience with JD Edwards E1 preferred.
- Lean Manufacturing Experience
- Licenses or certifications preferred: APICS, CPIM, or other manufacturing planning/materials related certifications
