Adult High School Credit Diploma (Mandated) Teacher-English
Reports to : Director of Adult Education
Part Time, Two Evenings a Week (Mon / Wed or Tues / Thurs), 5 : 00-7 : 00 PM or 7 : 15-9 : 15 PM, Academic Calendar
Non-Exempt
Kitching Regional Learning Center, 215 Hogan Drive, Torrington Pay Rate : $32.13 / hour, plus 45 minutes of paid planning for each class

Job Description : EdAdvance is seeking a qualified applicant to teach a high school level English class for adult learners.
Major Responsibilities :
- Plan and deliver English lessons in person or online using Google Classroom for an agreed upon English curriculum (Science Fiction, American Gothic, American Literature classics, Identity / Coming of Age, Diversity / Inclusion or other as determined by the teacher, director, and student credit needs)
- Maintain a positive and supportive learning environment
