What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant fashion designer position at Edgemine Inc?

Edgemine, Inc. is a Los Angeles based multi-label (Blu Pepper, Moon River, MINE, E&M) wholesale contemporary women's apparel fashion group and currently looking for an assistant fashion designer to join our Import Fashion R&D design team.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Assist designers with sourcing fabrics, trim and etc
  • Work closely with the production team to ensure delivery time is met 
  • Follow-up on samples and take photographs of it for buyers
  • Input and update styles into ERP system
  • Distribute fabrics, trims and patterns for sample makers 
  • Must be proactive, the detail oriented and ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Outstanding organization and time management skills 
  • Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator are a plus
