- Completes general media center duties (e.g. schedules access to media materials and district equipment, prepares and maintains library resources, processes materials for circulation and collection, performs minor repairs to damaged materials).
- Provides technical, clerical, and project assistance to students and employees.
- Makes students, employees, and visitors welcome in the media center.
- Assists students, employees, and visitors with general inquiries and refers questions to the appropriate person when needed.
- Answers telephones, reviews voicemail messages and correspondence, and responds appropriately.
- Monitors and maintains accurate records, databases, and other documents.
- Provides support to technical systems and applications.
- Assists the Media Specialist in providing assistance with technology and materials in the media center.
- Provides routine technological, audio-visual, and media material repair.
- Maintains resources for purchasing for students and employees.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Job-related training.
- One year of experience in a related field.
- Intermediate computer skills.
- Must have the ability to use Microsoft Office products.

7:30am - 3:30pm, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
DAYS PER YEAR:
190 days (9 months)
RATE OF PAY:
The wage for this position ranges from $22.97 to $28.97 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. Most candidates will start at the entry-level rate of $22.97 per hour. However, experienced candidates with prior work experience in a related field may be eligible for a starting rate of up to $25.43 per hour. These decisions will be made on a case-by-case basis, in consideration of the individual’s experience and the school district’s budget.
