Edison Home Health Care - is looking to hire a Retention Specialist. This position is focused on the eligibility aspect of patients, ensuring they remain eligible for home care services, correcting Medicaid issues, obtaining updated medicals, etc.

Responsibilities:
- Managing a full schedule of calls all day with existing clients to have them retain their services with Edison for homecare.
- Follow up with patients for missing medicals
- Follow up with patients who have Medicaid eligibility issues
- Stay on top of the process to make sure they retain their services.
- Transferring qualified and converted callers to appropriate departments.
- Documenting all work in our database, maintaining a contact management strategy in Salesforce.
- Appropriately managing existing patients with various backgrounds across the state of New York.
Qualifications:
- Excellent verbal communication skills – including listening, comprehending, advising, and consulting.
- Articulate and well spoken, strong communicator.
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Positive, strong work ethic, enthusiastic, and outgoing personality that can be heard through the phone.
- Ability to work both independently and as a team.
- Highly self-motivated and results driven.
