What will your work involve?
- Responsible for handling all aspects of contract administration, from contract review and request intake through contract execution and filing, including; onboarding of contracts, researching and tracking contract abstraction issues, analyzing contract documentation, monitoring progress of pending contracts, communicating status of contract reviews, and managing contracts lifecycle
- Serve as the point of contact for internal customers on contractual matters
- Liaise with the Procurement Department on contractual matters
- Assist in development and implementation of procedures for contract management and administration in compliance with company policy
- Provide guidance on contract management matters to staff, including training in contracting practices and procedures, as needed
- Monitor compliance by staff with established procedures
- Responsible for general contract administration facilitation, which include handling on-going issues and change management; ensuring contract close-out, extension, or renewal
- Assist in the creation and implementation of systems and documentation to increase efficiency of department, including spreadsheets, forms, checklists, flow and databases
- Proactively interact and work with Team Members in varying levels within EMF’s departments, assisting them with their contract inquiries
- Assist the Procurement Department to manage the end-to-end contract life cycle and associated vendor relationships
You’ll catch our attention if you have these skills and experience:
- Minimum five years of experience in contract administration/management, contracts law, or similar/relevant experience
- A collaborative and flexible style, capable of responding to urgent requests with a strong service mentality
- Experience reviewing and abstracting agreements/contracts
- Knowledge of contract management systems and functions
- Familiarity with legal and contractual terminology
- Strong computer skills; advance knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Outlook)
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of all company matters; communicate with tact and good judgment within scope of position
- Strong organizational and administrative skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to develop sincere business/ministry relationships
