What are the responsibilities and job description for the Kindergarten Teacher position at Edward F. Parthum Elementary School?
-Plan and implement rigorous, curriculum-based lessons aligned to Massachusetts State Frameworks
-Assess student performance and lesson effectiveness using formative, summative and project-based assessments and review and utilize data to inform and evaluate instruction, monitor student progress and create measurable academic goals
-Effectively differentiate services and support for students with a wide variety of academic, social and emotional needs
-Proactively communicate with students’ families to establish a partnership in support of student goals and contribute to school-wide effort to increase and maintain positive family engagement
REQUIREMENTS OF THE POSITION:
-Active Massachusetts Teacher Certification in Early Childhood PK-2 with SEI endorsement
-Proficient in English; Bilingual (Spanish) preferred
