Key responsibilities include:
- Greeting and directing incoming calls and visitors to appropriate staff based on knowledge of organizational operations.
- Independently responding to nontechnical inquiries, including report status updates and suspense dates.
- Performing accurate data entry for the Transition Assistance Program (TAP) using ACCESS and AFFIRST systems.
- Creating, editing, and maintaining documents using Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, and Access.
- Managing office records, file plans, and reference materials as the designated Record Custodian.
- Scheduling appointments and maintaining the M&FRC Outlook calendar.
- Reviewing outgoing correspondence to ensure accuracy, proper formatting, and compliance with grammar and spelling standards.
The Front Desk & Data Entry position requires the following qualifications:
- Education: Minimum of 12 credit hours in the social sciences or social work.
- Experience: Experience with an Air Force Military and Family Readiness Center is highly desirable.
- Certifications/Licenses: Must be able to successfully pass a background check for network access (TASS).
- Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of and/or experience with Air Force terminology is preferred.
