Looking for a caring Direct Support Professional for a young woman with developmental disabilities. She lives at home with her family, this is not a group home. Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Helping her gain independence by assisting her in getting ready for the day.
Taking her volunteering at her local thrift store.
Driving to all scheduled activities, such as YMCA for classes and a light workout.
Going for walks before making lunch at home, followed by another activity.
She enjoys: Horseback riding, crafts, movies, and activities that keep her engaged.
Schedule: 15 hours a week
Tuesday- 9:00 AM- 2:00 PM
Friday 9:00 AM-2:00 PM
Saturday 9:00 AM- 2:00 PM
Starting from $20.00 per hour
Job Type: Part-time
Salary: From $20.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Weekdays and Saturday
- 15 hours weekly
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Required)
Experience:
- Developmental disabilities: 1 year (Required)
License/Certification:
- Driver's License (Required)
Work Location: In person
- The employee must be willing to have a background check and drug screen done (required)
- Must have a valid driver's license with good driving record and a reliable vehicle for transportation (required)
- Training will be provided but candidates must have experience working with people with developmental disabilities.
