The Assembly Lead oversees and coordinates the activities of assembly personnel to ensure efficient production operations and timely delivery of products. This role involves supervising assembly processes, providing technical guidance, and ensuring adherence to quality standards and safety regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate assembly line operations to meet production targets and deadlines.
- Train, mentor, and coach assembly team members on assembly techniques, procedures, and safety protocols.
- Monitor and enforce adherence to production schedules and quality standards.
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet specifications and customer requirements.
- Troubleshoot assembly issues and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Maintain inventory levels and coordinate material supply to support assembly operations.
- Collaborate with engineering, quality assurance, and other departments to resolve production issues and improve processes.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
- Prepare and maintain production reports and records.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training is a plus.
- Proven experience as an assembly lead or in a similar supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of assembly processes, tools, and equipment.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to motivate and manage a team to achieve production goals.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and efficiency.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and practices.
- Basic computer skills to enter data and generate reports.
Working Hours: 7:00am-3:30pm
Compensation: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour
