We are a local manufacturer of aerospace machined components seeking a highly motivated In-Process/Final Inspector to join our quality team. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience in quality inspection, strong blueprint reading skills, proficiency in using various hand measuring tools, and basic computer skills.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Conduct in-process and final inspections of aerospace machined components to ensure they meet quality standards and customer specifications.
- Interpret and analyze blueprints to verify dimensions, tolerances, and specifications of parts.
- Utilize various hand measuring tools such as verniers, micrometers, and gauges to perform accurate inspections.
- Maintain accurate records of inspection results and update quality documentation as required.
- Ensure all inspected parts comply with company and industry standards, as well as customer requirements.
- Identify and report any non-conformances or defects, and work with the quality team to implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to address quality issues and provide feedback on inspection results.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance inspection processes and overall product quality.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of one year of experience in quality inspection, preferably in the aerospace industry.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
- Experience using hand measuring tools such as verniers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Basic proficiency in using computer applications such as Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in performing inspections.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and report inspection results.
- Highly motivated and able to work independently or as part of a team to achieve quality objectives.
Working Hours: 6:00AM-4:30PM
Compensation: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour
