We are seeking a skilled individual to oversee wire EDM operations, ensuring the production of precise components. In this role, you will lead tool design and development, collaborating with various teams to enhance manufacturing processes. Your responsibilities include machine setup, programming, operation, and maintenance, as well as quality assurance and documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up wire EDM machines according to job specifications.
- Program CNC machines using CAM software based on engineering blueprints.
- Operate machines to shape materials with precision.
- Monitor operations and adjust as needed for optimal performance.
- Inspect finished parts to ensure quality standards are met.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams.
- Utilize CAD software to design and simulate tools.
- Optimize tool designs to improve efficiency and reduce downtime.
- Coordinate with vendors for materials and equipment sourcing.
- Oversee prototype tool fabrication and testing.
- Provide technical support to production teams.
- Maintain detailed documentation of tool design and development.
- Ensure a clean and safe work environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.
- Proven experience as a Wire EDM Technician or similar role.
- Proficiency in setting up and operating Fanuc Wire EDM machines.
- Strong CNC programming and CAM software skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and precision.
- Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.

Working Hours: M-F, 6:00am-2:30pm
Compensation: $22.00 per hour
