Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Childcare Provider to join our team. The Childcare Provider will play a crucial role in supporting families by ensuring that children receive quality care while promoting their physical, emotional, and social development.
Duties
- Supervise and ensure the safety of children at all times.
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development.
- Provide nurturing care for infants, including feeding, diapering, and comforting.
- Assist with daily routines such as meal preparation, bathing, and dressing.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns.
- Maintain a clean and organized environment conducive to play and learning.
- Support children with special needs or disabilities as required.
- Foster positive relationships with children by encouraging exploration and creativity.
- Stay informed about child development best practices through ongoing education.
Requirements
- Proven experience in childcare settings such as daycare, babysitting, or nannying.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices.
- First aid certification is preferred; willingness to obtain certification is required.
- Experience working with children with disabilities is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with children and parents alike.
- Ability to create engaging activities that cater to various age groups.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children.
- Must be able to provide references from previous childcare roles.
