About The Role
We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Accounting Manager reporting to the Corporate Controller, to join our growing team. As the Accounting Manager, you will play an essential role in accounting operations and drive high impact process improvements that enhance efficiency and scalability. Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day, month-end, and quarter-end close processes, including but not limited to preparing journal entries, accruals, account reconciliations, flux analysis, and various accounting reports of financial results.
- Ensure all accounting activities comply with U.S. GAAP and internal policies.
- Ensure all intercompany transactions are properly recorded, eliminated, and reconciled.
- Develop, update and implement policies and procedures within the department.
- Continuously apply process improvement methodology and mindset to execute meaningful and measurable improvement to the various existing processes in the overall accounting operations.
- Understand overall accounting operation by participating in different functions’ day-to-day operations.
- Establish cost controls and implement scalable cost accounting process to support manufacturing scale up and ensuring accurate product costing and margin analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams by providing financial insights and operational support.
- Prepare schedules for audit support and provide requested audit documentation.
- Partner with FP&A on the annual budget, monthly forecast, various expenses analytics and other internal reporting activities.
- Assist in treasury/cash management.
- Assist, as needed, with various ad-hoc projects.
Qualifications, Education, and Experience
- BS/BA degree in Accounting or Finance.
- CPA &/or Big 4 experience preferred.
- At least 6 years of accounting experience, including at least 3 of those years in the accounting function of a manufacturing company.
- Strong working knowledge of key business processes (financial close, order to cash, procure to pay, etc.).
- Experience with inventory and cost accounting.
- Strong knowledge in US GAAP.
- Experience with SAP or an equivalent large enterprise resource planning system.
- Exposure to international accounting and multi-entity consolidations.
- Able to effectively prioritize multiple assignments and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong collaboration and teamwork skills.
- Strong project management, leadership, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Sets a good example for the team, with a strong work ethic and a passion for a fast-paced environment.
Compensation & Benefits
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $115,000- $155,000 per year, which represents the low and high end of the salary range for this exempt position. The total rewards package will also include company equity and an annual discretionary bonus.
