Eleven Recruiting is supporting a confidential search for a Senior Human Resources Generalist to lead HR operations across a growing, multi-site manufacturing and retail organization. The company currently operates with a headcount of approximately 70 employees across two production facilities in Pacoima, CA and one retail location in Tarzana, CA, with goals to expand significantly through 2026–2027.
This is a high-impact, full-time, onsite role ideal for a hands-on HR professional with deep knowledge of California labor law, strong interpersonal skills, and a passion for workforce development. The Senior HR Generalist will serve as a strategic partner to management while supporting all day-to-day HR functions.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary HR point of contact for manufacturing, cultivation, and retail teams across all sites.
- Administer and coordinate all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, benefits enrollment, and payroll coordination (in collaboration with Finance).
- Ensure compliance with state and federal labor laws, including FMLA, CFRA, ADA, FEHA, and Cal/OSHA.
- Conduct internal HR investigations, resolve employee relations issues, and provide coaching to supervisors on disciplinary and corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records within the HRIS; generate reports as needed.
- Support workforce planning, performance reviews, and goal-setting across departments.
- Manage and track employee leaves of absence, return-to-work protocols, and reasonable accommodations.
- Support recruitment efforts for hourly and salaried roles, including job postings, screening, and onboarding.
- Help lead employee engagement, training, and development programs to foster a culture of retention, growth, and accountability.
- Travel as needed between Pacoima and Tarzana locations to maintain onsite support and consistency.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum 3–5 years of HR generalist experience, ideally within manufacturing, production, or retail settings.
- Strong working knowledge of California employment law and regulatory compliance.
- Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, organization, and time management skills.
- Ability to travel between company locations as required.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
Salary : $100,000 - $115,000
