Position Summary:

Under the supervision of the CEO, the Clinical Director is responsible for oversight of clinical practices and services for mental health programs and provision of direct clinical services at Eliada Homes, Inc (EHI).


Major Responsibilities:

1. Acts as a lead in the research, selection, implementation and continuation of an evidence-based clinical treatment model for Eliada Homes. Collaborates with CEO and program directors on oversight of assessment services, evidence based practices, program evaluation, service quality and clinical training. 

2. Manages and supervises staff assigned to clinical department (clinicians, and case managers). Responsibilities include: hiring, supervision, case and workload assignments, corrective action, performance evaluation, and professional development. Ensures appropriate and responsive clinical coverage at all times, including oversight of clinical on call system. Provides administrative on call 24/7.

3. Collaborates with Director of Residential Operations to ensure teamwork and communication between both departments. Works in close collaboration with Director of Residential Operations. Is an active member of the Level III and other residential referral meetings. May act as a member of the Day Treatment referral meeting upon request of the CEO. Attends weekly team meetings on a rotating schedule. 

4. Participates in the preparation of budgets assigned to service areas. Ensures monitoring and adherence to annual budgets and utilization goals. Serves on agency’s Expanded Leadership Team.

5. Participates in ongoing development of clinical services within all departments and trains accordingly.

6. Trains and supervises clinicians and case manager on case management functions, including Child and Family Team Meetings, Person Centered Plans, and authorization requirements.


Other Responsibilities:

1. Ensures compliance with licensure, accreditation and agency standards and policies through participation in the agency’s PQI processes.

2. Ensures delivery of clinical services is to fidelity of selected evidence-based treatment model. 

4. Displays competence and responsiveness to cultural differences in both the consumer and employee population.

5. Performs other related tasks as assigned by the CEO.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Knowledge: Licensure as a Psychologist, LCSW, LMFT, LCMHC; with Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy. Knowledge of diagnostic issues, clinical interventions, group dynamics, interdisciplinary teamwork, clinical services delivery models, evidence based practices, and experiential therapies.

Experience: A minimum of 10 years combined direct clinical service and clinical supervision experience working with the child and adolescent mental health population. Experience in agency’s mental health service areas preferred.


Skills/Physical/Working Conditions: Must possess a valid NC driver’s license and be insurable by Eliada’s insurance carriers. Position requires excellent training, supervision, interpersonal, documentation and organizational skills. Position includes 24/7 administrative on-call duties.
