Role Overview

The Assistant Procurement Manager will support strategic procurement activities across various categories, including but not limited to 3rd Party Manufacturing (3PM). This role involves sourcing, supplier relationship management, contract execution, innovation support, and sustainability initiatives. The position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams and global stakeholders to optimize supply chain performance and deliver business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Support sourcing strategies and bid processes across multiple procurement categories.
• Manage supplier relationships, including performance evaluation and strategic partnerships.
• Execute and manage supplier contracts, ensuring compliance and value delivery.
• Participate in innovation projects and supply chain optimization initiatives.
• Monitor and analyze cost structures, market trends, and commodity pricing.
• Drive savings, cash flow improvements, and cost avoidance initiatives.
• Ensure service level agreements are met and resolve supply issues proactively.
• Contribute to sustainability goals through responsible sourcing and packaging initiatives.
• Collaborate with global teams and support network optimization efforts.
• Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) such as cost, cash, and service.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• 3 years of experience in procurement or supply chain roles.
• Experience in managing supplier contracts and relationships.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Comfortable working in a digital and global environment.
• Experience with sustainability and traceability in supply chains is a plus.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver results.

Compensation: The base salary range for this position is $90,000- $125,000 per year. In addition, this role is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on individual and company performance. Actual compensation may vary based on experience, skills, and geographic location.
