NOW HIRING: EXPERIENCED CLASS A YARD GOAT DRIVERS – PALMDALE, CA
MUST HAVE 6 months verified yard hostler (yard goat) experience
Temp-to-Perm Opportunity
Pay Structure:

• $24.00/hour – Overtime after 8 hours
• Paid weekly

Job Location: Palmdale, CA
Shift Length: 12 hours
Type: Yard-only operations (no road driving)
Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Operate Class A yard goat safely within a distribution yard
• Move trailers between dock doors and yard spots as directed
• Perform yard checks and trailer inventory
• Hook/unhook trailers and ensure they are properly secured
• Maintain daily activity log and yard move documentation
• Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections
• Communicate clearly with dispatch and yard personnel
• Ensure safety procedures and yard speed limits are followed at all times

Schedules:
12-hour shifts | Overtime after 8 hours
Sun–Tues Every Other Wednesday - Start Times

• 4am to 4pm
• 5am to 5pm
• 4pm to 4pm
• 5pm to 5am

Thurs–Sat Every Other Wednesday - Start Times

• 4am to 4pm
• 5am to 5pm
• 4pm to 4am
• 5pm to 5am

Job Requirements:
Requirements:

• Valid Class A CDL
• MUST HAVE 6 months verified yard hostler (yard goat) experience within the last 2 years
• Must pass a yard driving test
• Minimum 23 years old
• Clean Driving Record – No major violations
• Pre-employment drug screen

Wage Range: 24.00 - 24.00 per hour
