What are the responsibilities and job description for the Associate Attorney position at Elite Sourcing LLC?
We are seeking a detail-oriented Associate Attorney for a remote position that pays up to $140K, DOE, with excellent benefits. An attorney who has experience in construction defects and/or insurance defense, to join the legal team of a successful multi-state firms LV location. The Associate Attorney will be responsible for providing legal support and assisting with various legal matters. The ideal candidate will have experience in legal drafting, research, and civil defense litigation.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct legal research and analysis on various issues
- Draft and review legal documents, including contracts, pleadings, and briefs
- Assist with case management and preparation for hearings and trials
- Be able to handle a case from start to finish.
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties.
- Negotiate settlements and participate in mediation or arbitration proceedings
- Attend court hearings and represent clients in litigation matters
- Provide general administrative support to the legal team
Experience:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- Admitted to the state bar association
- Strong knowledge of legal principles and procedures
- Ability to write clear and concise legal documents
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills
