Job Summary :
Performs most patient menu manipulations within the department. Assists the cook with cold food production. Completes routine record keeping.
Delivers and retrieves patient trays as required.
- Performs menu and diet procedures to insure patients receive appropriate foods at meal times.
- Conducts food production tallies for all three meals.
- Assembles patient trays, with the cook, for delivery.
- Assembles and delivers nourishments for patients.
- Completes routine records and stats for the dietary department’s PI and Accountability reports.
- Assists with cold food production for patients and cafeteria patrons.
- Fills requisitions for patient pantry stock as requested.
- Assists with service and short-order work for the cafeteria. Cashiering as required
- Sets up for special function as needed.
- Answers and directs phone calls to the department.
- Cleans and sanitizes all work areas when used or as assigned.
- Occasionally works special functions as assigned.

Salary : $17.67 - $20.17 per hour based on experience.
