The Opportunity
As a Field Recruiter, you’ll be the face of Emergency Air in the recruiting world. You’ll actively source and recruit experienced HVAC, plumbing technicians—not just from behind a desk, but out in the field where they work and gather.
This hybrid role blends office recruiting with proactive, face-to-face outreach at supply houses, job sites, trade schools, gas stations, and more. You’ll partner with hiring managers and leadership to ensure we’re attracting the best talent who fit our culture and high standards.
What You’ll Do
- Proactively recruit HVAC, plumbing technicians through in-office sourcing and in-person field recruiting
- Build strong relationships with potential candidates at trade schools, supply houses, job sites, and industry events
- Conduct candidate screenings, evaluate qualifications, and present top candidates to hiring managers
- Partner with hiring teams to understand staffing priorities and drive quick, quality hires
- Maintain a strong candidate pipeline through ongoing networking and relationship building
- Track and report recruiting metrics to optimize strategies and success
- 2 years of recruiting experience or 2 years of face-to-face, door-to-door sales experience
- Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, or electrical trades and where to find top talent is a plus
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and results-driven
- ATS (Applicant Tracking System) experience preferred
- Valid driver’s license with willingness to travel locally for field recruiting
- $50,000 base salary per-hire bonuses
- $80,000 – $110,000 On-Target Earnings (OTE)
