Description
Full-time call center position responsible for providing customer service to client employees via in/out bound calls. Assist new and existing clients with a variety of requests regarding their voluntary insurance benefits such as benefit education, start/stop deductions, claims and enrolling in benefits. Hybrid or fully remote work schedule available.
1. Schedule employees for benefit consultations for benefit enrollment. Inbound and outbound calls from/to current and prospective client employees. Minimum 25 calls per day expected. Create and respond timely to tickets and research more complex employee inquiries.
2. Communicate and educate client employees about employee benefit programs during open enrollment periods and new hire service.
3. Enroll client employees in elected programs. Sale of products and services to new and existing policyholders. Accurately complete insurance applications and documentation in accordance with the case guidelines, data entry into enrollment platforms and follow data privacy policies and regulations, and company guidelines.
Requirements
High school diploma required. Active state life and health producer insurance license.
- Insurance background and/or voluntary benefits experience preferred.
- Computer skills, including experience with and knowledge of, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook; Internet Explorer; enrollment databases.
- Ability to think critically and act logically to evaluate situations, solve problems and make recommendations. Reliable, professional, attention to detail, able to work with diverse group of clients and staff, ability to work in fast-paced team environment, and flexibility to manage changing parameters and timelines.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with and provide excellent customer service to staff, clients, carriers, and vendors. Excellent communication skills required.
- Maintain client and employee confidences and protect confidential and proprietary information obtained in the course of employment.
