Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy Development:
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and expand market share.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for growth and differentiation.
- Team Leadership and Management:
- Lead, motivate, and manage the sales team to ensure alignment with company goals and objectives.
- Set clear sales targets, provide coaching and support, and conduct performance evaluations to drive individual and team success.
- Customer Relationship Management:
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with key accounts, distributors, and retail partners to drive sales and foster long-term partnerships.
- Conduct regular sales meetings, client visits, and presentations to communicate product offerings and address customer needs.
- Sales Operations Oversight:
- Oversee the sales process from lead generation to deal closure, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Monitor sales performance metrics, analyze sales data, and generate reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
- New Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including new markets, distribution channels, and partnership opportunities.
- Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to introduce new products and initiatives to the market.
- Training and Development:
- Provide ongoing training, coaching, and professional development opportunities for the sales team to enhance their skills and performance.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and accountability within the sales organization.
- Budget Management:
- Develop and manage the sales budget, allocating resources effectively to support sales initiatives and maximize ROI.
- Monitor expenses, revenue projections, and profitability to ensure financial targets are met or exceeded.
- Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, operations, and finance, to align sales strategies with overall business objectives.
- Communicate market insights, customer feedback, and sales forecasts to inform decision-making and drive business growth.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field; MBA is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of sales experience, with at least 2 years in a sales management or leadership role.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth in a competitive market.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Deep understanding of the cannabis industry, including regulatory requirements, market dynamics, and consumer trends.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to travel as needed to meet with clients, attend industry events, and support sales initiatives.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check.
- Compliance with all health and safety regulations and wearing protective clothing and equipment as required.
- Flexibility to work in varying shift patterns and overtime as needed.
