Position Summary

HR MGMT 10, LLC is an Employer of Record providing workforce support services to partnered brands operating in regulated manufacturing environments. The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for owning end-to-end supply planning, inventory optimization, and procurement execution to support uninterrupted production operations.

This role ensures raw materials, packaging, and consumables are available in the right quantities, at the right time, and at the right cost—while avoiding excess inventory and protecting cash flow. The Supply Chain Manager operates in close coordination with Production, QA, Compliance, Sales, and Finance to align material availability with manufacturing priorities and regulatory requirements.

This is a hands-on, accountability-driven role requiring strong forecasting, inventory discipline, and supplier management skills.

Core Responsibilities

Supply Planning & Forecasting

  • Own end-to-end raw material planning to ensure all inputs are fully stocked for forecasted production runs with zero production delays

  • Build and maintain rolling 30/60/90-day material forecasts based on sales demand, production schedules, and historical usage

  • Monitor daily material consumption and adjust purchasing plans in real time to prevent shortages or over-purchasing

  • Identify supply-chain risks early and implement contingency plans to protect production continuity

Inventory Management & Optimization

  • Ensure the facility is never over-indexed on raw materials by actively managing inventory turns, shelf life, and cash tied up in stock

  • Establish and enforce min/max inventory levels for all raw materials, packaging, and consumables

  • Proactively manage and eliminate excess, slow-moving, or obsolete inventory through smarter planning, consolidation, and SKU rationalization

  • Lead cycle counts, inventory audits, and reconciliation efforts to maintain system accuracy

Procurement & Supplier Management

  • Plan and execute purchase order timing and quantities to balance MOQs, freight efficiency, storage constraints, and production needs

  • Manage supplier relationships, including pricing, lead times, reliability, and secondary sourcing for critical materials

  • Support new product launches by sourcing materials, validating lead times, and managing inventory ramp-up and drawdown

Cross-Functional Coordination & Systems

  • Coordinate closely with Production, QA, Compliance, Sales, and Finance to align material availability with manufacturing priorities and regulatory requirements

  • Ensure accurate inventory tracking, lot control, expiration dating, and compliance within ERP/MRP systems

  • Continuously improve supply chain processes, controls, and SOPs to support scalability, service levels, and margin improvement

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience

  • 3 years of experience in supply chain planning, inventory management, or procurement

  • Proven experience managing demand forecasting, inventory optimization, and production-aligned purchasing

  • Strong understanding of ERP/MRP systems, inventory controls, and lot/expiration tracking

  • Experience operating in regulated manufacturing environments with strict compliance and traceability requirements

  • Demonstrated ability to reduce excess inventory while maintaining high production service levels

  • Strong vendor negotiation and supplier management skills

  • Advanced Excel and data analysis skills, including forecasting models and inventory dashboards

Preferred

  • Experience in cannabis, CPG, food & beverage, pharmaceutical, or nutraceutical manufacturing

  • Experience supporting multi-SKU, high-volume production environments

  • Familiarity with QA, testing timelines, and regulated material release processes

Skills & Competencies

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented

  • Proactive problem solver with strong ownership mindset

  • Data-driven decision maker

  • Strong communicator across operations, finance, and leadership

  • Comfortable operating in fast-paced, high-growth manufacturing environments

What Success Looks Like

  • No production delays due to material shortages

  • Inventory levels remain balanced with strong turns and minimal obsolescence

  • Accurate forecasts that production and finance can rely on

  • Supplier performance is stable, predictable, and cost-effective

  • Supply chain processes scale cleanly as volume and SKUs increase
