Are you a motivated individual with a knack for logistics and a passion for optimizing warehouse operations? We are seeking a Inventory Coordinator to play a key role in ensuring the smooth flow of materials and information within our warehouse. This position requires physical capability to climb ladders and move heavy parts as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Load production schedule requirements into our ERP system and maintain data integrity.
- Analyze and review requirements for manufactured parts.
- Release work orders to Production Stores for timely processing.
- Monitor shortage and on-hold reports, expediting material shortages as necessary.
- Track project progress and assist in weekly inventory cycle counts.
- Collaborate with Production Stores to resolve backlog shortages.
- Identify and address scheduling issues as an interdepartmental liaison.
- Coordinate engineering change activities across departments.
- Work with supervisors and engineers to troubleshoot workflow challenges.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing Planning to establish priorities.
- Monitor on-time delivery performance and develop cost estimates for manufacturing.
- Assist in implementing engineering changes and developing manufacturing plans.
- Prepare presentation data for monthly operation reviews.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Preference for a 4-year degree; candidates working towards a degree or holding a 2-year degree will be considered.
- Experience with MRP/ERP systems is a plus.
- Proficiency in Excel and strong arithmetic skills are required.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills are essential.
