Director of Educational Services

• Manage and oversee all staff and contractors in the Education Program and Child Care Facility.
• Maintain a safe and productive environment for staff and clients.
• Provide guidance and support to teachers and tutors for students who are struggling in the classrooms or with their studies or grades.
• Work with children, adolescents and adults with a variety of educational needs.
• Coordinate student tutoring schedules.
• Assess the center’s performance and implement improvements as necessary.
• Meet all deadlines for various educational programs.
• Ensure all tutors and teachers meet all required deadlines for document submission.
• Visit clients at home, school or community locations in some cases.
• Plan curricula, and lesson plans to meet state standards or the needs of individual students.
• Ensure that teachers plan curricula, and lesson plans to meet state standards or the needs of individual students.
• Consult with school administrators and parents about their children’s progress at the center or in school.
• Build community relationships and engage with other providers.
• Develop programs and materials that meet state standards and federal guidelines for education.
• Oversee our Summer Camp Program located in several school sites, including food coordination, curriculum development, staffing and enrollment.
• Develop and implement strategic plans and policies for the center.
• Supervise and evaluate staff members.
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
• Maintain a safe environment for all clients and staff.
• Oversee the delivery of services and programs to ensure they meet the needs of the center’s clients or students.
• Communicate with stakeholders, including parents, donors, and community members.
• Collaborate with other organizations and community groups to promote the center’s mission and services.
• Represent the center at meetings, conferences, and public events.
• Manage budgets for the educational program.
• Manage the center’s budget and ensuring financial sustainability.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
