This position will report to the Reading PA, Corporate Headquarters office 3 days a week & work remotely 2 days a week.

Job Purpose
The Senior Financial Analyst position is responsible for assisting in the Forecasting, Planning, and Budgeting cycles for the Motive Power line of business.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
* Prepare the detailed monthly and annual forecast income statement and Primary working capital for Motive Power America's.
* Enhance or create new models to assist in the monthly, quarterly, and annual forecast/budget process
* Liaise with Sales and Operations Planning in completing/reviewing monthly Motive Power sales forecast files
* Assist in ad hoc modeling and Planning exercises as required
* Review America's monthly income statement and provide comments on variances to forecast, budget, etc.
* Prepare monthly Motive Power Finance slides
* Review month-end input and results from the remote units investigating and understanding anomalies
* Develop analysis on backlog/booking trends
* Work closely with America's finance team to ensure accurate month-end reporting
* Backup for financial analyst responsibilities

* Comfortable interacting with employees covering a range of seniority
Required Experience:
* Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance with 5 years of forecasting/accounting experience in/of a manufacturing environment or similar. Knowledge of current accounting/SEC guidance is a plus.
* Fluent English is required.
* Must have a general understanding of all accounting functions including account reconciliation, cost analysis, and month-end closing procedures.
* Must be able to problem-solve and analyze financial data.
* Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint) and ERP. Knowledge of BaaN, SAP, HFM, and SQL is preferred but not required.
* Capable of maintaining confidentiality and professionalism. Knowledge of federal and state financial regulations.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
