Position Overview:
Electro-mechanical assembly of aircraft interior products, work includes but not limited to sheet metal fabrication, and/or mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic assembly by performing the following duties.
Essential Functions:
- Measures parts to determine specified tolerance
- Drills, taps, reams, countersinks, and spot faces bolt holes in parts
- Follows written instructions, note and dimensions on drawings
- Bolts, screws, and rivets parts together
- Disassembles and replaces parts as required
- Cleans and lubricates parts and assemblies
- Marks identifying information on parts
Qualifications
Job Specifications (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities):
- Excellent organization skills with strong attention to detail
- Excellent teamwork skills and high degree of initiative required
- Excellent communication both written and verbal
- Work independently and possess a high level of self-motivation and initiative
- Have basic knowledge of the use and maintenance of common shop tools
Education, Certifications and Experience:
- High school diploma or GED and one-year related experience and /or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
