Position Summary

This position will provide support prior to, during, and after games. Duties include, but are not limited to, scorekeeping, time clock operation, and announcing. Collaborate with coaches or designee regarding duties, activities and strategies. Develop and promote good community relations among stakeholders.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Customer service.
  • Ticket sales.
  • Ticket taking.
  • Security.
  • Public announcements at games.
  • Scorekeeping/Clock Operator (Baseball, Softball, Soccer, Football, Volleyball, Lacrosse).
  • Scorebooks (Softball, Baseball, Basketball, Volleyball)
  • Responsible for getting official’s paperwork signed and returned to bookkeeper.
  • Chain crew/Field Set-Up (Football)
  • Establish student, staff and parental rapport that allows for a proactive response to potential problems.
  • Actively participate in required training.
  • Apply and implement knowledge, skills and new understandings to support site.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.

Prioritize and schedule work tasks independently.

Create and implement effective and efficient process management strategies (e.g., procedures, equipment, materials, and supplies).

Maintain accurate records in accordance with professional standards, state guidelines, and school system policy.

Education/Training/Experience

High School Graduate or equivalent.

Bilingual (preferred).

One (1) Year Job Related Experience (preferred).

English fluency will be determined through the application and interview process.

Licenses Or Certifications

Valid Colorado Driver’s License.

Valid CPR and First Aid Certification (preferred).

Essential Physical Requirements

Frequent lifting 5 (five) to 20 (twenty) pounds.

Occasional lifting 20 (twenty) to 50 (fifty) pounds.

Frequent bending, squatting, standing, reaching, walking, and stooping.

Occasional sitting, crawling, climbing, kneeling.

Work Environment

Mostly clean and comfortable, occasional dirt or dust, temperature extremes, noise.

Occasional exposure to adverse climate and weather conditions.

Reports To

Athletic Director or designee.

LOCATION:

Englewood High School.

Salary

$20.00 per hour.

Additional Information

New hires or rehires will be responsible for the fingerprint processing fee required for background checks through the Colorado Bureau of Investigation.

Closing Date

This position pool will be posted throughout the 2025-2026 school year. Selected applicants will be interviewed as needed.
