Job description
Responsible for ensuring compliance with international trade regulations, optimizing customs processes, and supporting trade operations across the Americas.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5–7 years of experience in international trade or related area
- Direct experience in import compliance for the Americas
- Subject matter expertise in trade compliance including import regulation, classification, valuation, licensing, and authorizations
- Fluency in English (oral and written)
- US Customs Broker license strongly preferred
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
- Willingness to travel up to 10%
Preferred Skills
- Strong project management and computer skills (Microsoft Office, particularly Excel)
- Experience with Oracle and trade automation tools such as E2Open
- Analytical skills with ability to identify and resolve business challenges
- Ability to manage multiple priorities under time constraints
Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and internal policies
- Optimize costs related to customs and trade activities
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and automation in trade processes
- Support and evaluate internal and external service providers against performance metrics
- Maintain strong focus on customer support in trade compliance activities
- Provide expertise in resolving compliance and operational challenges
- Contribute to Americas trade compliance projects and initiatives
