📋 Job Description
We’re seeking a seasoned Senior Appian Technical Lead to architect and develop scalable enterprise applications using the Appian BPM suite. This role demands hands-on expertise in Appian design patterns, integrations, and performance optimization, along with leadership capabilities to mentor junior developers.
🔍 Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable Appian applications using SAIL, Process Models, Records, Reports, and Sites
- Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements
- Develop integrations with external systems using Web APIs (REST/SOAP) and Appian plugins
- Optimize and troubleshoot existing Appian applications for performance and scalability
- Ensure adherence to Appian best practices, coding standards, and security guidelines
- Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and deployment activities
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers
- Maintain documentation for design, development, and deployment processes
✅ Required Qualifications
- 10 years of total IT experience, with at least 5 years in Appian BPM development
- Strong knowledge of Appian components: SAIL, CDT, Process Models, Records, Reports, Sites
- Experience with Appian version 21.x or higher
- Proficiency in Appian plugin development and external system integrations
- Solid understanding of relational databases (MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server)
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills
⭐ Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines for Appian deployments
- Familiarity with cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Exposure to Appian RPA and Appian AI features
