What You'll Do
As a member of the Paint and Body Shop Team, TheAircraftDetailer/Painter Assistantwill be assisting with bodywork, priming, sanding, blocking, skimming, and masking. Will also use body shop tools and spray equipment in addition to fillers, resins, epoxy, polyurethane, and urethane primers. Expectations may include:

What You'll Do
As a member of the Paint and Body Shop Team, TheAircraftDetailer/Painter Assistantwill be assisting with bodywork, priming, sanding, blocking, skimming, and masking. Will also use body shop tools and spray equipment in addition to fillers, resins, epoxy, polyurethane, and urethane primers. Expectations may include:
- Cutting and buffing fresh clearcoat
- Fixing any dust or debris in clearcoat
- Correcting runs
- Polishing blends
- Small spot-ins for burns, chips, or scratches
- Completing all paperwork
- Helping the painters set up for painting parts
- Washing parts
- Fixing masking
- Inspecting primed parts for defects prior to paint
- Prepping parts between coats of paint
- PriorBodywork and/or painting experience on aircraft orin the automotive field is helpful
- Cutting and buffing or painting experience helpful
- Able to work as part of a team with a great attitude
- High standards for following instructions, detailed work, and work quality
- Able to stand for extended periods and move about the facility as needed
- Able to work with minimal supervision
- Self-motivated, self-disciplined, organized, and driven individual
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer without sponsorship now or in the future
- Aerospace manufacturing position inthe Paint & Body Shop Department
- Competitive wages starting at $21.63/hr.

- Dayshift:Monday Friday 6:00 am - 2:30 pm
- Hourly wageshift differential(more $ than morning shift)
