he Quality Control (QC) Specialist is responsible for ensuring that products meet the company’s quality standards before they are delivered to customers. This role involves inspecting materials, processes, and final products, documenting findings, and working closely with production teams to resolve any quality-related issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform inspections of raw materials, in-process production, and finished products.
- Monitor operations to ensure they meet production standards.
- Conduct visual and mechanical inspections using measuring tools and testing equipment.
- Document inspection results and report any deviations or defects.
- Work with production and engineering teams to identify and resolve quality issues.
- Maintain and calibrate inspection tools and equipment.
- Follow and enforce Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), safety protocols, and company policies.
- Assist in the development and implementation of quality procedures and guidelines.
- Participate in internal audits and support corrective/preventive action initiatives.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in quality control or manufacturing environment is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, or technical drawings.
- Familiarity with quality testing tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.).
- Basic computer skills for data entry and report generation.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
Work Environment:
- May work in a warehouse, factory, or production facility setting.
- May require standing for long periods, lifting up to 25-50 lbs, and use of PPE.
