We are looking for a Behavioral Health Technician Supervisor who will work closely with clients to determine their rehabilitation needs and to provide individualized treatment by providing structured as well as holistic healing. Supports clients with foundational well-being that develops the skills needed to overcome, heal & grow to sustain long-term sobriety.

The primary role of the BHT Supervisor is to uphold the safety, security and structure of Epiphany Wellness while also providing direct support services to residents and staff. The four core functions of the BHT Supervisor is to :

  • Manage all transportation
  • Housing Operations
  • Referral coordination
  • Lead, Manage, Assist

The BHT Supervisor is responsible for a variety of routine, basic tasks essential to the daily operation of the program. Work is performed in accordance with established regulations, policies and procedures, and the BHT Supervisor is expected to exercise significant and independent judgment in all duties. Work is reviewed and supervised by the Operations Manager while on duty

What will your day look like? You will:

  • Maintaining a daily and weekly structure for clients.
  • Utilizing the company van for transportation of clients. Adhering to all company policies when in company vehicles
  • Instructing and confirming the company’s rules and regulations to new admissions as well as BHT’S.
  • Provide training and orientation to all new Behavioral Health Techs.
  • Review Incident reports and collaborate with direct supervisor with root cause.
  • Reporting Suicidality/Homicide of a patient to Operations Manager
  • Observes proper medication protocol and ensures recording of all medication in and out.
  • Properly signs money/ property in and out from safe for rent collection. While utilizing petty cash ledger,and rent sheet
  • Maintains order and ensures compliance with rules and regulations; ensures that both staff and residents conduct themselves in an orderly manner when on agency property or in agency vehicles.
  • Is proactive ensuring proper staff is on shift, being proactive and reaching out to the Operations Manager when coverage is needed.
  • Monitors weekly cleaning/inspecting rooms for cleanliness/assigning daily chores with reports to Operations Manager.
  • Reviews accurate and up to date reports on every resident, every shift/ensures a shift report is sent out every shift.
  • On call during and after work hours including weekends.
  • Ensures proper search of all resident belongings coming onto property, including the clothes the resident is wearing when the resident is being admitted to the facility or returning from is being completed.
  • Creates and adheres to staffing BHT schedule, each house has 1 staff member (exception of overnights). If there is not adequate staffing, the BHT supervisor is to cover shifts.
  • Assists in clinical interventions as needed as well as assisting in referrals, AMA blocking, behavioral issues etc.
  • Maintains open communication with Operations Manager and reports issues in real time.

What you will need for this position:

  • High School or GED
  • Bachelors preferred
  • Preferred of two year experience in recovery setting
  • Unexpired Motor Vehicle Driver’s License with good driving record verifiable through Department of Motor Vehicle.
  • Maintain Current CPR Certification. – CPR within 90 days

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
