What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Expeditor and Order Coordinator position at ePlus inc.?
As a Warehouse Expeditor and Order Coordinator, you will be the primary warehouse contact with internal stakeholders. Your responsibilities will include working closely with our Sales Team, inventory control, warehouse team and other department leads to help coordinate logistics and scheduling of warehouse requests to meet customer SLA’s, with a focus on accuracy. To succeed in this role, you should have excellent time management, organizational and communication skills, as you’ll collaborate with internal teams and departments to deliver results.
YOUR IMPACT
The essential functions of this position include:
- Oversees all warehouse requests from initiation to completion, including monitoring progress, follow-ups, and escalating issues when necessary
- Main point of contact to the sales team for all warehouse requests
- Monitors and expedites warehouse requests with an emphasis on accuracy and efficiency
- Work closely with the warehouse and configuration managers to ensure an organized and efficient workflow to ensure customer quality expectations and SLA’s are met
- Work with and assist the Configuration team with order prioritization and deadlines
- Provide Quality Assurance for high importance/visibility projects and orders
- Review aging orders to help identify and resolve any order/inventory problems
- Help monitor inventory levels for high moving product and large projects
- Proactively communicate with Sales when inventory has been delivered
- Review daily ASN report and assist with the prioritization of delivery receipts
- Tracks and manages all reported quality issues, identifying root cause trends, and driving process improvements
- Communicate and coordinate with other departments and teams to assess status, ensure timely responses, and obtain remediation or corrections as needed to meet customer requirements.
- Prioritize, coordinate and track project activities and schedule status meetings with team leads as needed.
- Draft documents and responses for management for their review and ensure all components of the task are fully addressed.
- Overtime may be required
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum High School Diploma and 5 years of related work experience
- Associate’s Degree plus 2 years of related work experience preferred
- Expert skills with MS office tools such as Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint; ability to schedule and facilitate on-line and voice conferences while presenting
- Experience coordinating and managing tasks and projects to ensure timely, accurate, complete and professional results
- Expert attention to detail, organizational and time management skills to ensure multiple projects are delivered successfully
- Ability to manage and prioritize among multiple input sources and tasks simultaneously and provide effective and timely responses and ensure all requests and deadlines are addressed
- Experience with warehouse wave planning and scheduling
- Excellent oral and written communication skills including experience supporting senior government and contract leadership
POSITION SPECIFICS
The base salary range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $24 and $28 hourly; however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including commissions and discretionary bonuses, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and personal leave), dependent on the position offered.
