Bobtail Driver- Lacox Propane, Hammond, LA

Lacox Propane Bobtail Drivers are crucial to our success, as they are the face of our company in their daily interactions with both current and future customers. As a full-time driver on our team, you will safely and efficiently pick up and deliver propane to residential and industrial customers. Delivery drivers can expect to work local routes and be home every night; however, on-call rotations for after-hours and weekend emergency deliveries may be needed.

Job Description

• Load, secure, transport, and deliver propane safely
• Provide outstanding customer service by supplying service information and answering inquiries
• Inspects vehicle and notifies supervisor of needed equipment, supplies, or routine maintenance
• Maintain compliance with all DOT requirements
• Assist the service crew in setting tanks
• Communicate any issues or maintenance needs
• Additional duties may be assigned by management as needed
  
  

Job Requirements

• CDL (Class A or B) with Hazmat & Tanker – or can obtain them quickly
• Clean driving record
• High School diploma or GED
• Physically able to lift 60 lbs in all weather
• Truck experience preferred, but not required
