CivilCorp, LLC is a professional service firm offering civil engineering and land surveying services throughout Texas. CivilCorp’s main office is in Victoria, Texas, with offices in Houston, Fulshear, Corpus Christi and Round Rock. CivilCorp is seeking a Survey Party Chief in the Victoria, TX office.
Qualifications:
- Candidate must have a working knowledge of advanced survey software and hands on experience working with survey instruments
- Experience with GPS Surveys, Construction Surveys, DTM Surveys, Control Surveys, Route Surveys, required.
- Technical skills involved include the electronic data collection for large, medium and small size projects, and gathering survey data points and the use of line codes to use for the preparation of CAD drawings
- Candidate will be required to demonstrate strong self-motivational and organizational skills, and experience working with Leica software and equipment such as Robotic Total Stations, Digital Levels and GPS equipment, a plus
- Ability to travel out of town on assignments, this includes overnight stays for 10 days at a time
- This position is targeting someone that can work well with others on the crew to complete the daily survey assignments correctly and proficiently.
- Candidate must be able to pass a drug screen, background check, and have a satisfactory driving record in accordance with the company’s driving (MVR) policy.
